The Sustainable Capacity Foundation supports the Canadian environmental sector in capacity building.  Grants are awarded to assist with capacity building efforts in a range of areas, including

Collaboration

 We believe in collaboration and are a member of several key philanthropic networks, including Environmental Funders Canada (EFC), The Circle on Philanthropy and Aboriginal Peoples in Canada,  Philanthropic Foundations of Canada (PFC), and Grantmakers for Effective Organizations (GEO).  We are a signatory of the Canadian Philanthropy Commitment on Climate Change and the International Philanthropy Commitment on Climate Change.  We have also signed Philanthropic Community's Declaration of Action (The Declaration) led by The Circle on Philanthropy and Aboriginal Peoples in Canada, Community Foundations of Canada, Philanthropic Foundations Canada, and The Counselling Foundation of Canada.
