$10,000 to support Nelly Leo, another BIPOC Fellow who joined in 2023. This org has been a driving force in creating diverse, welcoming spaces that nurture the sustainability.
Partnership funding to launch the first Community Bond with a grantee - the Faithfully Green Fund Community Bond. A total of $642,000 has been raised to date with this bond.
$1,000 to support Community Associations for Environmental Sustainability in Ottawa. Funds helped support a board strategic planning retreat in summer 2023.
Funding to support capacity building training webinars held throughout the year with the Capacity Building Institute. Funding also helped subsidize training programs.

In the early years of our capacity funding work, we operated the "Sustainable Capacity Fund" in partnership with Sustainable Eastern Ontario. Our pilot funding supported over 3.2 Million $ in capacity building funding and support to grassroots organizations across the region. We also established a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) at the Ottawa Community Foundation which we continue to operate at this time.
