$100,000 in funding to support Sustainable Capacity Solutions social enterprises: Eco-Internships, GreenBooks, Eco Executive Director, and the Capacity Building Institute.

Collaborative funding of $1.9M in partnership with federal wage subsidy programs to support interns at environmental organizations across Canada.  186 youth internships at over 70 organizations has been supported to date.

$825,000 in training funding has been provided collaboratively to support capacity building training.  The focus is on leaders of small-shop environmental organizations across Canada through the Capacity Building Institute.

$10,000 to support the Climate Justice Organizing HUB in Montreal and our BIPOC Fellow,  Jacqueline Lee-Tam, who is their director.    

$10,000 to support the Environmental Youth Alliance in Vancouver.  Our BIPOC Fellow Erica Ellis is the Co-Executive Director of EYA.

$8,000 as a combined microloan and partial grant to support human resource capacity for the local organization.  This included a shared intern position in partnership with Eco-Internships.

$9,000 to support ocean conservation efforts through Sea Change Canada, including the Coastal Champions project and Ocean Issues reporting. 

$25,000 to support fresh water initiatives across the country by Watersheds Canada. Programs include the Natural Edge and Love your Lake in addition to several networking and capacity building opportunities for lake associations in Canada. 

Ongoing collaboration with Greening Sacred Spaces to support our first every community bond, the Faithfully Green Fund, with a total of $642,000 raised toward energy projects in faith-based buildings.  Projects funded include EV charging stations at churches, heat pump projects, retreat centre sustainability, and other energy saving retrofits.

$1,000 to support of this important water organization as part of our commitment to The Circle on Philanthropy and Aboriginal Peoples in Canada.

$1,000 to support the Manitoulin Streams Improvement Association with restoration efforts on 6 sites on Smith Bay Creek in 

Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory.

$10,000 to support national excellence of the association working with 19 biosphere reserves across Canada.   

$50,000 in support of Year 2 of the BIPOC Fellowship program in Eastern Ontario to develop BIPOC leaders in seniors roles. 

$1,000 to support One Piece a Day, an organization that encourages individuals to refuse single use plastics, reduce waste, and pick up one piece of trash a day.

$6,000 for the Nova Scotia Environmental Network to support core activities.  This includes internship support, capacity training, and other costs of the organization.

$5,000 to support Capacity training for the National Farmers Union from the Capacity Building Institute.

$5,000 to support Engagement Organizing.

$5,000 to support capacity-building through an Engagement Organizing lens.

$10,000 to support capacity building training for Just Food leadership.  Just Food is a leader in food security and policy.

$1,400 to support Human Resources for MentorU Community Foundation in partnership with Discover Year. 

$5,000 to support Capacity Building for staff as part of the Capacity Building Institute "Capacity Building Certificate Program."

$10,000 to support sustainable leadership of Tucker House Renewal Centre and HR support for the organization.

$5,000 to support the 35th anniversary of the Peace & Environment News at the Peace & Environment Resource Centre (PERC).

$5,000 to support capacity building and transition work at the Ottawa Eco Talent Network (OETN)

$5,000 to support development of the Ottawa Chapter of Faith & the Common Good.

$10,000 to support the Canadian Environmental Network.  RCEN is a national leader for the environmental movement and important key player in the fabric of the sustainability nonprofit sector. 

$5,000 to support the sustainable retreat / retraite durable site.  This facility supports a glamping and off-grid camping sites in Gracefield, Quebec.
